GOAL, a statewide program of the Technical College System of Georgia, honors excellence in academics and leadership among the state’s technical college students. GOAL winners are selected at each of the state’s 33 technical colleges as well as the four Board of Regents colleges with technical education divisions.

		OTC Foundation 2nd Annual Gritz & Glitz Gala A Success The 2nd annual Gritz & Glitz Gala was a memorable, glitzy occasion as 163 people gathered at the Okefenokee Golf and Country Club on June 6, 2009, for an evening of fun to benefit Okefenokee Technical College students and programs.

		Tony Smith Receives OTC Foundation Scholarship David Anthony (Tony) Smith of Nahunta was selected as a spring quarter 2009 recipient of an OTC Foundation Academic Scholarship.

		Area Manufacturers Honored at Local MAW Luncheon Area development authorities and Okefenokee Technical College hosted a luncheon at the Railway Express Depot in downtown Waycross May 7, 2009, to honor and recognize local manufacturers for their contributions to the community and the economy.
