Brummett Elected to Georgia Chapter of Women Work

Tacy Brummett Tracy Brummett, New Connections to Work Coordinator at Okefenokee Technical College, was recently elected Vice President of the Georgia Chapter of Women Work!

Women Work! The National Network for Women’s Employment is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that advocates for women’s economic security through policies, programs, and partnerships. Since 1978, the Network has assisted more than 10 million women to successfully enter, re-enter, and advance in the workforce.

A 1998 graduate of the University of Georgia, Mrs. Brummett is also a graduate of Waycross College where she won the Regent’s Essay Award. From 1990 until 1992, she attended Purdue University Calumet in Hammond, Indiana.

Prior to accepting the job at OTC, she was employed by Ware County DFCS as a case manager.

Tracy and her husband Gerald live in Jamestown. They have two children, Megan Nicole and Madison Noelle. The family attends Zion Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Millwood.
