Leadership Waycross Class Tours OTC Allied Health Building

The Leadership Waycross Class of 2009 toured Okefenokee Technical College’s newly-constructed allied health building last week as their last stop in a productive day. Chad Boyett, OTC’s Facilities Director, served as guide for the group. Leadership Waycross OTC Visit

Following the tour, members enjoyed refreshments as OTC President Gail Thaxton illustrated how graduates from OTC’s technical programs impact the daily lives of everyone present. Afterwards, OTC Career Services Director Charlie Gibson shared how the College assists employers in securing the right OTC graduate to fill jobs and benefit local business and industry.

The allied health building will be completed fall 2009 and ready for classes January 2010. The nearly 55,000 square foot building will house all of OTC’s allied health programs as well as the library-media center.
